Jasper is formed when silicated mud drips, and solidifies in the gas pockets of molten lava. This superheated environment is credited for the stone’s distinctive banded patterns and durability. Legend says Jasper is an excellent source of protection for its ability to drive bad omens away and align the chakras to cultivate a balancing of energies. It is thought to stablise one’s aura, offering a sense of stability and rejuvenation in times of turbulence.
