Hawk’s Eye is a pseudomorph crystal; a mineral that changes into another mineral over time. It began as a sombre Crocidolite, slowly turning into the luminescent crystal it is today. It’s name is inspired from the dreamy chatoyancy of the stone, very reminiscent of the threatening gleam of a hawk’s eye. It is believed to be an excellent stone of intuition, opening the Third Eye chakra and encouraging one to stay open-minded to the bigger picture.
